Duke Baldridge has been providing risk management and insurance advice to businesses in the Mid-Atlantic for 30 years. He founded Dominion Risk Advisors to provide complex risk solutions for clients across the Mid-Atlantic. As he says, “at DRA, we are building lasting value – for our clients, our employees, and our community.”
Duke is a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) who serves as a passionate advocate:

- Negotiating broad coverage
- Demanding superior service from insurance companies
- Creating value for clients and carriers alike
- Challenging colleagues to exceed client expectations
Duke works with client from a number of industries with an emphasis on manufacturing, construction, sawmills and lumber, wholesale distribution, real estate developers, and tough property and casualty exposures. Duke has worked on the Insurance Agency advisory councils for a number of commercial insurance carriers solidifying relationships with underwriters.
Duke and his wife, Mary Catherine have three adult children. He has spent decades serving the community. Currently, Duke serves on the Roanoke City Economic Development Authority, Downtown Roanoke, Inc. and West End Center boards. He is active with the Associated General Contractors, the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, church committees and others. He has served on numerous boards including the Regional Chamber, the Roanoke City Educational Foundation, DePaul Community Resources, Family Service and others.
